I actually really enjoyed levelling up new characters and doing all the questing and exploring and collecting. For me what turned me off about the game was once you got to level 70 the only thing left to do was raiding in large groups and killing extremely difficult bosses just to get better gear, so you have the best gear needed to go raid and kill an even bigger boss.. lather, rinse, repeat.

It got boring for me very quickly. I didn't see a purpose. I longed for the days of running my level 20 Troll Hunter through the Barrens picking up quests and hunting down animals to skin for leather so I could train my skills. It was simple fun. The high level group stuff.. just wasn't my cup of tea.

Very interesting to see how the game can appeal to people in different ways, as well as bore people in different ways.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30077884.post-41696375582915007682007-11-21T12:09:00.000-05:002007-11-21T12:09:00.000-05:00I think, that what probably happened is that your ...I think, that what probably happened is that your use to playing real hardcore RPG's and that the stuff you do in WoW are kids stuff compared to what you were use to playing. Not everyone is going to like something that everyone else does, that's life. I also think that you shouldn't take to much heat for speaking your mind against something that the majority approve/like. I think you kept it pretty professional in my opinion, that you gave Blizzard the kudos for making a beautiful, etc. game, but you just don't like it.

Everyone has their opinion, and as long as they keep it professional and give points why they don't like something instead of simply saying "this game sucks" have the right to speak from their side of things.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
